There is no need for anyone except military units or possibly police departments to have such a weapon,

Considering the fact that digital real estate isn’t intrinsically valuable, or backed by a tangible asset.
https://landsale4u.com/blog/buy-metaverse-land/

This purchase comes with an open risk as these digital real estate deals are made in cryptocurrency, and because of crypto’s volatility, this digital real estate market is also likely to be a volatile one. Therefore, rather than investing your hard-earned money in digital assets, one should focus on building tangible assets as they are more profitable and long-term.

However, investing in real estate can only be beneficial when an investment is made in the right place. There are multiple platforms from where a person can buy a property, but not every platform can be trusted. Therefore, safeguard your hard-earned money in a wise way by buying land from https://landsale4u.com. Get enormous options for your investments at reasonable prices.

That was the last edition of this app, and Microsoft discontinued it.
A program where you can set your car’s fuel tank capacity, the consumption in city, road and on motorway. how often want to take a rest, and it was able to calculate where (at which petrol station) you need to refuel, where should stop driving to rest, etc.
I haven’t found similar application with up to date maps, yet!

Comment on How to Permanently Disable Windows Defender in Windows by Marco Aurélio https://www.maketecheasier.com/permanently-disable-windows-defender-windows-10/#comment-101893 Wed, 13 Jul 2022 23:52:13 +0000 https://www.maketecheasier.com/?post_type=post-ideas&p=178277#comment-101893 In reply to vizimajac.

At first the DisableAntiSpyware was been deleted in reboot.
Then I stopped real time scan in windows anti mal ware config and also deselected another option to avoid changing other important resources (could not remember the name). Now it works. Rebooting does not erase the disable option and does not launch windows antimalware anymore.
As my machine is an old one, the antimalware service consumes an enormous time slice of CPU and also the hard disk channel resources too.
As I never got a virus I prefer to turn off definitively. My other machine is a Mac, which has also no virus problems to keep a service all time running.
I will prepare this procedure in my windows running on a virtual machine VirtualBox, which also consumes a lot of processing resources unnecessarily scanning for virus.

However, I would like to introduce you to “Collony” – a simple app that can be used to collect any type of content – books, movies, articles, images, files, anything. Share each collection selectively.
You can find “Collony” on both the App Store and Play Store.
(Note: images on the stores are oriented for movies/books, but the content can be anything.)

Comment on How to Continue Using Windows 7 Safely with No More Updates by Steve https://www.maketecheasier.com/how-to-use-windows-7-safely/#comment-101829 Tue, 12 Jul 2022 21:13:42 +0000 https://www.maketecheasier.com/?p=345204#comment-101829 It a know fact that the more you patch the more bugs and securities holes you find. It very likely that most if not all of those “new holes and bugs” come from patching. There is a saying “if it is not broke, DO NOT FIX IT”
Instead of patching and adding code a better practice would be complete rewrite of old code and very long testing periods. As that is not happening, IMO it is better to pick a point and then NEVER patch again. I love Windows 7. It has none of the Built in Holes ( Seriously you want to remove security holes and yet leave in the biggest hole of ms checking and updating when they want and then of course phone ms home) . IT you do not believe more code equals more bugs anf holes check in out for yourself

At least you didn’t include whatsapp and skype. But you ignored web 3.0 and decentralized apps for some reason.. I will add such representative to the list – Utopia p2p, which also released a mobile beta version recently: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=is.u.utopia As a web 3.0 application, it provides 100% privacy and anonymity as its also decentralized. It doesn’t require any personal data during the registration, while most top messengers do.

I’ll keep my answer short… I find KDE neon a better system than kubuntu out of the box, though for both, I wish that the application bar with its global menu was turned on by default.

KDE does however need a ‘reset all’ button when it comes to tweaking the settings.

Comment on How to Permanently Disable Windows Defender in Windows by vizimajac https://www.maketecheasier.com/permanently-disable-windows-defender-windows-10/#comment-101625 Sun, 10 Jul 2022 10:49:02 +0000 https://www.maketecheasier.com/?post_type=post-ideas&p=178277#comment-101625 The big problem that this does not work at all.
The DisableAntiSpyware key – which is responsible for the function to be eliminated – is automatically deleted by the system on next reboot so antimalware process is re-enabled again and again.
As I see the only solution to preserve the DisableAntiSpyware setting is to change permissions for “Windows Defender” key. This means you must remove the full access permissions and just leave read access on this key.
How to do this:
Select permissions on “Windows Defender” key
Disable inheritance (choose to let convert permissions when asked)
Change the owner from SYSTEM to your user
Modify all “full access” permissions to “read “including SYSTEM for any accounts.
OK, reboot
Please feedback
