Have you ever wanted to create your own Android app and share it with family and friends? While there are many options online, you might want to check out AppsGeyser, which is fast, responsive, and requires zero technical skill. In fact, creating an app with this tool is so easy that I’ll walk you through all the steps from start to installation on my phone.
1. Log in and Get Started
First, create your account in the login area using just an email address. It is recommended to verify the email after registration: I used a temporary email address and never got stalled. They do ask for a phone number, but you don’t have to provide one.
Click “Create Now” once you’re logged in in the dashboard.
2. Create Your App
Once you are logged in, select “Create App to Earn.” There are 24 categories to choose from: browser, free video calls and chat, messenger app, media player, mobile TV, slot machine, magic ball, and wallpaper. For this tutorial, I chose “wallpaper.”
After reviewing the template’s description, click “Next” to start creating the app. You can see a preview on the right pane.
Since this is a wallpaper app, there was a choice to upload the pictures.
Note: if you’re uploading pictures or videos for public consumption, make sure there are no copyright violations and that they comply with Creative Commons guidelines.
Click “Next” once you are done with the description. Now give the app a desired name.
In the next step, you can either choose your own icon or go with a default option.
Finally, hit the “Create” button. You can always fine-tune the app later in the editing window for more advanced options.
3. Publish Your App
If you want to publish your app to Google Play, you can do it for free with AppsGeyser using a “Publish” button. It also supports alternative Android markets such as Amazon Appstore, Aptoid, SlideMe, and GetJar. For these, click “I already published app. Check it now!”
To publish with Google Play, AppsGeyser has a guide to walk you through the procedure.
- Create your Google Developer account on its Developer Console signup page
- Fill in store lists in Google Developer account
- Upload apk at Google Play’s app releases section
- Fill in content rating
- Pricing and distribution
- App content section
- Release the app
4. Download Your App
As a new Google Developer, it will cost $25 for a one-time registration. It will take 48 hours to process it.
If you don’t want to go through all this, AppsGeyser lets you publish, download and install your apps for personal consumption.
There are two ways to download the app that you just created. You can either scan the QR code or download an apk file from a direct link that can be shared with everyone.
5. Install Your App
To install the app, go to your phone’s installation settings and click “Install.”
Generally, non-Google Play apps have to be verified for security risks. There are none in this app, so you may install it freely.
The app you just created will be installed like any other normal app on your phone.
As long as your app is active on the dashboard, any edits you create will be automatically updated for all the app users.
Note: you should check whether the app is trustworthy before you install it on your phone.
Pricing
If you want to stay within the “Free” plan, your newly created app will be stored for only 24 hours unless you publish at least one of your apps to Google Play. AppsGeyser costs $5/month for an individual plan billed annually.

It used to be that you needed to be an Android developer and spend long hours coding before you could have your own Android app. With AppsGeyser, the whole process can now be done in minutes.
