Wallpaper Changer Apps Android Featured

If you tend to get tired of your phone’s wallpaper quickly, it can be annoying and time-consuming to keep changing it. You have more important things to do than look through an endless list of wallpapers.

Avoid the hassle and have a wallpaper changer app change your Android device’s wallpaper automatically. You never know – you may even get an image you might not have found on your own. Thanks to the following apps, you’ll get a new wallpaper every few minutes or every day.

1. Tapet

One of the most popular wallpaper changer apps for Android, Tapet’s name may derive from the old-timey way of saying “wallpaper,” but that’s the only thing archaic about this great app.

Adapting to your device’s screen resolution up to 4K, Tapet doesn’t just pull wallpapers from the Internet – it immediately generates them for your phone, complete with a nice parallax effect that responds to you moving your device around.

You can mix up the patterns, pick your color palettes for your wallpapers, and choose how often you want the wallpaper to change to the next one. It’s quite possibly the most elegant wallpaper changer.

2. IFTTT

The wonderfully named IFTTT (If This Then That) is much more than just a wallpaper changer, allowing you to set all kinds of triggers for your phone to perform various actions. You can use voice commands (or just typing) to get your phone to, for example, send you alerts when deals come up on eBay or send you notifications when certain news stories happen.

When it comes to wallpapers, IFTTT syncs with your social media accounts, so you can get it to change your wallpaper to correspond with the latest picture by one of your favorite Instagram photographers or to set up a carousel when a new photo folder gets uploaded to your family Dropbox account.

The great thing about this is that you can set it up to send you entirely new photos ever day, as it’s not dependent on just the photos you have on your phone.

3. Wallpaper Changer

An app that offers various options when it comes to changing your wallpaper is Wallpaper Changer. It’s an app with a simple but nice design. When you launch the app, you have three tabs to choose from: Change, Album, and Settings.

In the change tab, you can set the wallpaper to change every few minutes, hours, or days. It’s also possible to modify the wallpaper by double-tapping twice on your device’s display.

You can even add the images that will appear as the wallpaper since the app doesn’t include any. You can add them in the Albums tab.

In Settings, you can adjust the image position and size and choose random wallpaper and even a static wallpaper mode if your device has issues with live wallpaper.

4. Casualis: Auto Wallpaper Change

Casualis is the app that (at least in my opinion) has the nicest design. To have the app change the wallpaper automatically, you’ll need to go into the app’s settings. Tap on the General tab and toggle on Auto Wallpaper Change.

The app can change the wallpaper every hour, two hours, three hours, six hours, twelve hours, daily, every three days, or every week. Since you surely take care of your mobile data, you may not want to use it to change the wallpaper; that’s why it also includes an option where it will only change it over Wi-Fi.

A useful feature this app has is that you can also change the wallpaper by shaking your phone. This option is a real time-saver. You can also choose the source for the wallpapers. For example, it can get the wallpaper from Unsplash, Bing, NASA, Chromecast, or Pexels.

5. Muzei Live Wallpaper

Do you love art? If so, you can enjoy a daily wallpaper of the most famous pieces of art with Muzei Live Wallpaper. The wallpaper won’t take over your home screen since you can blur, dim, or grey out the wallpaper, so your app icons are always in the spotlight.

Whenever you want to take a break from the daily painting wallpaper, you can modify the source of the wallpaper. The daily wallpaper can also come from the images from your Android device’s gallery. It will choose a random camera photo from the gallery each day.

You can let the app decide which images to display or select them yourself. Just tap on the cogwheel below the My Photos option, tap on the plus sign at the bottom, and select the images you want the app to select from. Apparently, there is no limit as to how many photos you can choose.

6. Zedge

Zedge is one of the most famous wallpaper apps, if not the most famous. With this app, you can choose from millions of wallpapers, whether they are live or not. Did you know that Zedge also has a feature that will change your wallpaper automatically?

To enable this feature, you need to go into the app’s settings and swipe down to the Auto-update wallpaper feature. When you tap on the option, it will allow you to change your wallpaper every hour, every twelve hours, or every day. Just select the option you want and exit the settings. The changes will be applied immediately.

7. Everyday Wallpaper Changer

Everyday Wallpaper Changer is not as popular as the previous option but still gets the job done. As soon as you launch the app, it will display a window where you can set how often you want the wallpaper to change.

Go to the app’s settings by tapping on the three horizontal dots. You can also choose the frequency of the change, to only change over Wi-Fi, the categories the wallpaper will be taken from, and if a filter will be added or not. You can choose from categories such as Unsplash, Funny, Black, Romantic, Cars, Quotes, Wildlife, and more!
