How to Access Yahoo Mail in Gmail

In this section we explain how to add your Yahoo Mail to Gmail. You’ll need to adjust the settings in Gmail for desktop, but once you’ve done so, you’ll be able to read Yahoo Mail in Gmail on your mobile device as well. You’ll also be allowed to send email using your Yahoo Mail address from Gmail.

5. Click on “POP or IMAP,” then select “Next.”

6. In the panel that appears, you’ll need to apply several configurations. First, enter your name and Yahoo email address in the “User Information” section.
7. “Account Type” under “Sever Information” needs to be IMAP. Additionally, in the “Incoming mail server” text box, enter “imap.mail.yahoo.com.” In the “Outgoing mail server (SMTP) text box, enter “smtp.mail.yahoo.com.”
